General
Anne lives with her husband, Brian on 6 acres about 2.5 miles East of Lorette, MB. She hasn't retired yet, as her husband had a stroke in February 2005. They are thinking of selling their property and moving to a smaller property, but they love "country living". Anne is currently doing "Home Care" in St Vital and Winnipeg and loves it!
Family
Anne has three sons by her previous marriage (Brian Mykietowich, Ken Mykietowich and Daryl Mykietowich) and Brian has two daughters (Shelleen Deveau and Kathy Prior). They have eleven grand children ranging in age from 5 to 22 years. Anne's mother and father are deceased, as is her brother, Andrew. She has a brother, Wally, who lives in Regina, SK.
Work History
After graduation in 1957, Anne went to work for McLeods where she met her first husband. She had her first son, Brian in 1963 and stayed home to her children until 1971. Then, she started work as a sales clerk at Eaton's and subsequently moved up to Supervisor. Later, she became a buyer for Eaton's.
Anne and Brian went into the restaurant business. they operated "Hanya's Henhouse" in Morden, MB specializing in chicken. Later, they opened a restaurants in Steinbach and in Winnipeg, MB. In 1992, Anne and Brian moved to Lorette, MB where they opened "Brian's Drive-Inn", which they operated until 2001.
In 2001, Anne started work in Home Care. She loves this work and wishes she had got into this profession a long time ago, as it is so self rewarding..

Hobbies and Interests
- Music --- She doesn't have her accordion anymore, but has a keyboard. They have a Kareoke machine and have Kareoke parties
- Dancing, Sewing, Cooking and Baking
- Gardening --- Her husband says she plants a garden that can provide vegetables for all of Lorette.
- Anne and Brian enjoy going to the country music festivals.

Memberships and Other Interests
- Volunteer Work: From 1974 – 79 Anne looked after the "Teen Club" at Valley Garden in Winnipeg.
- In 1980, Anne became the first female Chamber of Commerce president in Manitoba (Morden).
- Looked after the "Queen Pageant at the Morden Corn and Apple Festival.
- Anne plans to do volunteer work with seniors when she retires.
