General
Diana completed a BSc at the University of Manitoba after leaving Stonewall Collegiate. She then moved to Galt, Ontario and became a Science teacher. She taught Science in Dundas and Waterdown, Ontario for 30 years and retired in 1996.
Family
Diana is married to Dan Stephens, a retired music teacher. They have one daughter, Beth, who graduated from the University of Guelph with an MA and currently lives in Hershey, PA where she is the Research Co-ordinator for ALS disease.
Work History
- After graduating from the University of Manitoba (B.Sc.), Diana worked as a chemist in a hospital in Hamilton, Ontario. She started teaching science in 1966 and became a Science Department Head for several high schools. This was a very rewarding career.
- Since retiring, Diana has worked as a cruise consultant for Cruise Holidays in Etobicoke.
- She has had other careers as well.

Hobbies and Interests
- New hobby is quilting.
- Old hobby is sailing (is taking the Power Squadron Course and others, in order to obtain a certificate for chartering sailboats on the ocean).
- Ballroom Dancing – has been doing this for four years
