Emily and her husband, Myron, have a blended family of seven children and eleven grand children. Emily's children, Brent and Bob Isbister and Janet Peters live in Stonewall. Emily's oldest daughter, Lynn, died in 1996. Myron's family, Bruce and Wanda Phipps live in Brandon. Douglas Phipps lives in New Brunswick.

Emily worked for Canada Post for 19 years.

Hobbies and Interests
Emily likes to curl, golf, bike, sew, knit and read.

Emily and Myron spend their winters in Osayoos, BC
